Benefits for Corporate Supporters

In an era where many companies have larger revenues than the GDPs of certain countries, the nature of diplomacy is changing. Representatives of the U.S. private sector are in effect ambassadors for their companies, promoting values and goals important to success and helping foreign government representatives better understand the private sector.

ECD produces a variety of both formal and informal events that contribute to respectful, cross-cultural exchange. Events range from lecture discussion meetings with relevant and influential keynote speakers to visiting America’s historic sites such as Gettysburg, Monticello, and the National Archives. The mix of both policy-based discussions and educational cultural events gives the U.S. private sector the opportunity to engage with the foreign diplomatic corps on both a professional and personal level – forging relationships that last for years.
